David Stubbs, DDS
With extensive post-graduate education and training in all specialties of dentistry, including, IV sedation, and implant dentistry, Dr. David Stubbs is a highly skilled and experienced dental implant specialist at Stubbs Dental Implant Center. Dr. David Stubbs graduated from The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and immediately following served as an officer in the US Navy where he received post-graduate education and expert clinical training in all specialties of dentistry. Dr. Stubbs places a high priority on the comfort of his patients in his approach to dentistry. He wants everyone to have a positive experience at the dentist. Since founding Stubbs Dental Implant Center in 2014 his focus shifted towards dental implants and full mouth reconstruction, such as the life-changing All-on-X treatment.
A lifelong passion for helping others drives Dr. Stubbs' philanthropic efforts, he and his team believe in making a positive impact in their community and the world. Dr. Stubbs cites two life-changing events that have instilled in him a desire to help people in whatever way he can. The first is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ecuador where he served the people of Ecuador for two years. The second is going to Peru years later to treat the less fortunate on a dental mission. Through his tireless efforts, Dr. Stubbs has provided free dental care to countless individuals who previously lacked access to dental services. He continues to serve communities around the world, bringing much-needed dental care to those in need.
Dr. Stubbs has called the South Davis County area his home with his family since 2012. In 2014, he established Stubbs Dental Implant Center, which opened its doors the day after he and his wife, Brandy Kaye, adopted their son Dylan. Nine months later, they welcomed their daughter Kaylee Anne into their growing family. The family continues to thrive in their close-knit community.
Kris Kuchenmeister, DDS
Meet Dr. Kris Kuchenmeister, an esteemed dental implant and sedation dentistry expert, affectionately known as "Dr. K." With 11 years of experience, Dr. K graduated from the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in 2012, complemented by degrees in chemistry, human resource management, and Spanish from Utah State University, where he earned his Master of Business Administration in 2007. Beyond his dental career, Dr. K proudly serves in the armed forces, having achieved the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserves in 2018, reflecting his unwavering dedication to his country and global communities.
As a highly skilled dental implant specialist, Dr. K possesses additional expertise in sinus augmentation and holds certifications in IV Sedation and ACLS. Driven by a profound commitment to continuous education, his passion for dentistry ignited during his high school years when he worked as a dental assistant. At Stubbs Dental Implant Center, Dr. K has showcased exceptional proficiency in full-mouth dental implant reconstruction surgeries, finding immense joy in transforming the lives of his patients through his transformative work.
In his free time, Dr. K enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley, and their four sons, Ryan, Ethan, Grey, and Archer. When they get a break from their crazy schedules they enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, fishing, and taking road trips as a family.
James Willardsen, DDS
With a remarkable 27 years of dental experience, Dr. Jim Willardsen stands as a distinguished cosmetic and dental implant dentist renowned for his exceptional expertise and unwavering commitment to patient care. Graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1996 after earning a degree in Biology from Brigham Young University, he has consistently demonstrated his proficiency, earning recognition as a Top Dentist by his Las Vegas peers in Las Vegas Life Magazine during his 18-year practice in Nevada. Driven by a calming presence and an unwavering dedication to his patients' satisfaction, Dr. Willardsen goes above and beyond to ensure their comfort and comprehensive dental restoration. Residing in Salt Lake City with his three children, he continually pushes the boundaries of his knowledge through ongoing education, specializing in areas such as occlusion, neuromuscular dentistry, full mouth restoration, dental implants, and the transformative All-on-X dental implant treatment.
Dr. Willardsen is a proud father of two boys and a daughter. He enjoys snow skiing, motocross, mountain/road cycling and going to the beach with his family as often as possible. When he is not working or spending time with the family, he spends his personal time training as an amateur cyclist. He competes in cycling races yearly, having completed Lotoja 8 times. This race starts in Logan Utah and ends in Jackson Hole, WY, extending 206 miles. It is considered the longest single-day classic race in the USA. This is one of his most treasured accomplishments. Dr. Willardsen is a devoted member of his church and volunteers to work with young men as a leader, teacher, friend, and mentor.
Shane Phillips, DDS
Dr. Shane Phillips is a highly respected practitioner in the Salt Lake Valley, boasting an impressive 26-year dentistry career. Driven by a commitment to delivering advanced and comprehensive care, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Scientific Nutrition from Texas A&M before earning his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1997.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of dentistry, Dr. Phillips continually invests in continuing education. His expertise extends to implant dentistry, and he holds a certification in sedation, ensuring that his patients have access to a diverse range of dental treatment options. In his free time, Dr. Phillips enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, sporting events, and golfing with his wife, Jeri, and family. He has four amazing children that he and his wife love spending their time with Trey, Taylor, Austin, and Alex. He also has eight delightful grandchildren that keep him on his toes.
Riley Robinson, DDS
Dr. Riley Robinson, a distinguished dental professional who obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he found love in his wife. Continuing his educational journey, he pursued dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia, where he received extensive training in dental technology. During his D.D.S. studies, Dr. Robinson's research in various aspects of dentistry was published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine, The Dental Investigator, and Journal of Dental Research (pending publication).
Expanding his expertise, Dr. Robinson pursued additional training in general dentistry at the University of Utah Health Science Center, specializing in oral surgery. With a strong commitment to delivering comprehensive care, he takes pride in guiding patients through their transformative All-on-4 journey, ensuring their utmost satisfaction. Recognized by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his exceptional work, Dr. Robinson possesses a passion for esthetic dentistry. Firmly believing in the life-changing impact of a beautiful smile, he is dedicated to instilling confidence and positively transforming lives through his artistry.

Douglas Loveland, DDS
Dr. Douglas Loveland, a seasoned dental professional with an impressive 30-year tenure, including owning multiple private practices. Driven by his early fascination with dentistry, which ignited during his very first dental appointment at the tender age of four, he pursued his passion and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas San Antonio. Driven by his unwavering commitment to the field, he then obtained his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School, graduating in 1990.
As a testament to his dedication to excellence, Dr. Loveland has completed advanced training in various dental specialties, including implants, fixed prosthodontics, sinus lifts, ridge augmentation/preservation, advances in peri-implantitis, and restorable vs. non-restorable members. Committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry, he actively participates in continuing education programs, ensuring his patients receive the most advanced and comprehensive dental care available. Dr. Loveland's unwavering dedication extends to providing his patients with the latest techniques and technology, ensuring they receive the best possible dental care.

When they are indoors, they enjoy watching movies together in their home theater as a family, creating cherished memories.
Kimberley Kershaw, DMD
Dr. Kershaw is a compassionate dental professional originally from Alberta, Canada, who completed her undergraduate education in her hometown. After graduating with honors in 2011, she earned her degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the esteemed University of Alberta. After practicing as a hospital pharmacist in Canada for several years, Dr. Kershaw pursued her passion for dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors in 2019.
Following her graduation, Dr. Kershaw gained valuable experience working in Pittsburgh for three years while also dedicating her time to a medical mission trip in Guatemala. Later, she embarked on a new chapter in Utah with her husband. Driven by her passion for dentistry, Dr. Kershaw aspires to provide her patients with comprehensive care across all areas of dentistry. With a focus on continuous growth and improvement, she consistently expands her skillset through ongoing continuing education programs, with a particular emphasis on dental implants. Dr. Kershaw holds multiple certifications in advanced surgical extractions, single and full arch implant placement, implant surgical techniques, and more, demonstrating her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kershaw and her husband love to be outdoors, snowboarding/skiing together during the winter, mountain biking or running in the summer, and enjoys artistic projects all year round!
Kirk Johnson, DMD

As a board-certified oral surgeon, Dr. Johnson has completed a rigorous 4-year post-doctorate residency, honing his skills and perfecting his implant techniques.

With his comprehensive knowledge and proficiency, he ensures the highest level of care for all our patients.
